Rembrandt Artists Pastels

Made from the best quality, pure pigments finely ground in an extra-fine Kaolin clay binder; they have a velvety

smooth softness and are thoroughly blended and uniform, without hard bits or sharp edges that could cause shiny spots or scratches during application. Each round pastel stick is paper-wrapped and printed with the color name and number, the price series letter, the lightfastness rating and the number suffix indicating whether it is a shade (.3), pure tone (.5), or a tint (.7, .8, .9, etc.).

Prismacolor Nupastels

Firm pastels in convenient stick form 3-5/8" long. Widely used for advertising layouts. The smooth sides

make them clean and easy to handle. They can be blended just like ordinary pastels.

Pan Pastels

A new way to create with pastel color! These highly pigmented, ultra soft, lightfast, low dust, erasable pastels mix,

layer and apply like paint. They come packed in pans so artists can easily lift, blend and apply pastel color. The unique packaging protects the colors, keeping them separate and clean, and interlocks securely together for storage and transport. They are compatible with traditional pastel sticks, pastel surfaces and conventional fixatives. They allow for maximum control and can be used for intense strokes to delicate marks.

CarbOthello Pastel Pencils

Premier Sanded Pastel Paper by Global Art

Pastel Premier is a unique 100% cotton archival quality sanded pastel paper that is double-primed with an exclusively made

aluminum oxide coating to produce an idea surface for pastel drawing. A final seal coat makes the paper extremely durable and able to withstand any measure of scrubbing and re-working. The base paper is a heavy 145 lb. (300 gsm). It can also be used with oil and acrylic paints, colored pencils and other dry media. Pastel Premier is available in three surfaces: medium fine, fine and extra fine. The medium fine (320 grit used for Italian Clay - warm neutral gray) and fine (400 grit used for white - slightly buff) have a very similar gritty surface. The extra fine is a 600 grit surface that is smoother and available only in white. The medium fine and fine surfaces accept as many as 25 layers of pastel.

Premier Sanded Conservation Boards by Global Art

Pastel Premier Conservation Board features 100% cotton, archival quality sanded pastel paper that is double-primed and

coated with an aluminum oxide to produce an idea surface for pastel painting. The base paper is heavy 145 lb. (300 gsm), withstands any measure of scrubbing and re-working, and accepts as many as 25 layers of pastel. This paper works well with oil and acrylic paints as well as colored pencils and other dry media. Pastel Premier paper is mounted on a 4-ply conservation board with a white backing which is acid-free, buffered and neutral pH. No more taping or mounting pastel paper - the mounted boards are designed for easy use, storage and transport.

Colourfix Sanded Pastel Paper

Colourfix is 140 lb. acid-free watercolor paper that has been professionally screened with ArtSpectrum pastel primer.

The natural toothy surface of this paper is ideal for pastels, pencil or charcoal, as it will hold multiple overlays of color without the need to fix between layers. The absence of fixative will allow the velvet bloom and vibrant color to be preserved. Sheets measure 20" x 28".
